The Certificate of Achievement in Dietary Management provides the education and training in nutrition, foodservice, personnel and communication, sanitation and safety, and business operations which enables students to competently perform the responsibilities of a dietary manager and prepares students to take nationally recognized Certified Dietary Manager Credentialing Exam and fulfilling the requirements needed to maintain certified status. Certified Dietary Managers (CDM) are nationally recognized experts at managing foodservice operations and ensuring food safety; they are responsible for the daily operations of foodservice department, according to facility policy and procedures and federal/state regulations. 150 hours of field experience required with a designated preceptor.
For exam related questions/materials, graduates of the program are referred to the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers.

Dietary Management, Certificate of AchievementThe Associate in Science in Nutrition and Dietetics for Transfer prepares students for a major in Nutrition and Dietetics at a four-year institution. This degree will provide students with foundations in human nutrition, food science, anatomy and physiology, biology, microbiology, chemistry, and statistics required for careers in Nutrition and Dietetics. This degree is designed for students interested in becoming Registered Dietitians/Nutritionists, Dietetic Service Supervisors and Nutrition Assistants, and Wellness Coaches who function as managers/supervisors and nutritional care specialists in health care and nutrition-related facilities.

The Certifying Board for Dietary Managers® (CBDM®) is the credentialing agency responsible for establishing and upholding policies for and the administration of the CBDM Certification Program.
CDM, CFPPs are experts at managing foodservice operations and ensuring food safety. They are responsible for implementation of menus, foodservice purchasing, and food preparation. They apply nutrition principles, document nutrition information, manage work teams, and much more.
