The National English Honor Society (NEHS) Club provides an accepting and inclusive environment for anyone interested in discussing a broad range of topics related to English and Literature.
Your Path to Academic Adventure
Membership in the NEHS is a special opportunity for community college students who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to their English studies. As a member, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including:
- Academic Recognition: Receive a personalized NEHS membership certificate and the official Society pin, showcasing your commitment to excellence.
- Scholarships: Eligibility to apply for NEHS scholarships, some valued at up to $750 each, to support your educational journey.
- Writing Awards and Opportunities: Submit your papers for publication in the prestigious Hedera helix. Published works can earn you recognition and monetary prizes.
- Annual Convention: Showcase your work by submitting papers for presentation at the Sigma Tau Delta international convention. This is your chance to gain exposure, win awards, and meet fellow students and renowned authors. The Sigma Tau Delta International Honor Society is for four-year college and university students and sponsors the NEHS club for 2-year college students. You can find mentorship for transferring to a four-year!
