Coastline College is now partnered with TimelyCare to deliver a virtual health and well-being platform for students. The service provides 24/7 access to virtual care at no cost! Check out the FAQs below to learn more.
TimelyCare offers:
- TalkNow - 24/7, on-demand emotional support to talk about anything, including anxiety, relationships, depression, and school-related stressors.
- Scheduled Counseling (up to 12 sessions) - Choose the day, time, and mental health provider that best works for you.
- Self-Care Content - Visit the "Explore" page within TimelyCare for guided self-care content, including yoga and meditation sessions, as well as group conversations with our providers on a variety of health and well-being topics.
- Basic Needs Support - Access to low or reduced-cost community resources, including food and housing assistance, transit support, childcare, and finances.

What services are available through Timelycare?
TalkNow: 24/7, on-demand access to a mental health professional to talk about anything at any time. Students can now choose to have 12 sessions per year with the same certified licensed practitioner at no cost.
Scheduled Therapy: scheduled options to speak to a licensed practitioner.
Choice: Pick your person. Find a provider who is right for you and is as unique as you are. You can, at any time, select a provider from the TimelyCare forum.

How can Coastline students access TimelyCare Telehealth?
Go to TimelyCare.com to register for and access telehealth services. You can then have visits from any web-enabled device throughout the United States - smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. You must use your legal name as listed in Banner to create a profile. You may then change to a preferred name.

How much does a visit cost?
TimelyCare services are free of charge to all enrolled Coastline College students.

Should I meet with a Coastline therapist or use TimelyCare?
Coastline College offers highly qualified therapists to meet your mental health needs both virtually and in-person, however TimelyCare offers both evening and weekend appointments and out of state therapy services which may be a good option for students who would like to access a mental health professional outside of Coastline College hours and purview. Additionally, TimelyCare has a provider’s forum from which a student can choose a provider that reflects the primary language, background, identity, and experiences of the student.

Is TimelyCare confidential?
TimelyCare is confidential. As part of your agreement to the Terms of Service when you register your account, your records will be shared with mental health therapists at Coastline College. Coastline’s Student Mental Health Services may reach out to you to offer additional mental health support services as needed. If you want to share your records with a practitioner outside of TimelyCare, you can print or email your records, or call 833.4.TIMELY to send a copy of your records to your provider.
