Official Education Plan
Coastline requires all students to have an Official Education Plan upon completion of 6 units at Coastline or 9 semester hours paid by Government-issued Tuition Assistance.
There are three steps to receiving an Official Education Plan:
- Enroll in a Coastline course.
- Submit official transcripts, including military transcripts, college transcripts, Advanced Placement, CLEP, or DSST scores, if applicable.
- Contact the counseling department by emailing counselingdept@coastline.edu or by calling (714) 241-6162 to schedule an appointment to have a degree plan prepared. Please include your name, student ID, program or military status, Branch of Service, major, as well as the days and times that work best for you.
You will develop your degree plan with your counselor.
Your degree plan is available to you immediately after the appointment in DegreeWorks. Your DegreeWorks program audit will also be emailed to you soon after the appointment.
Official Education Plans will remain valid as long as a student maintains continuous enrollment, or as long as breaks in enrollment are less than 5 cumulative years.
Visit our Transcripts page for detailed information on requesting or submitting official transcripts.
