The "new Proctorio": Respondus LockDown Browser and Monitor Essentials

This workshop provides an in-depth understanding of Respondus LockDown Browser and Monitor tools which verify students' identities and secure quizzes/exams given in Canvas. Attendees learn how to set up and manage remotely proctored exams in Canvas and evaluate quizzes and webcam recordings for integrity. Attendees also learn how and when to transition from Proctorio to Respondus and where they can find general support and support specific to Coastline faculty and staff.

This workshop will dive into the Black and Queer practices of Sankofa and Chosen Family. At a time where great resistance and action is needed, we hope to build practices rooted in wisdom. We will spend time learning from the life and work of Queer Ancestors such as Audre Lorde, Nikki Giovanni, Pauli Murray more. We hope to build our own table of wisdom and resistance.
