May is Mental Health Awareness Month
We're excited to hold our inaugural Mental Health Fair at Coastline College. All Coastliners - students and employees - are welcome to join the Mental Health Services team in the following activities on May 15-17, as we attend to our mental wellbeing. Hope to see you there!
5/15 - Loving Through the Struggle
Join us for this webinar presented by Amanda Wilson of the National Alliance Mental Illness of Orange County to learn how to help a friend or loved one struggling with a mental illness. Feel equipped to better emotionally connect, communicate, and manage your own feelings when interacting with your loved one's mental health challenges.

5/16 - Social Time
Coastline students and employees take some time to self-care and/or enjoy time with friends and colleagues in our community areas. You will find table games, gratitude journals, and coloring materials available to you.

5/17 - The Mind and Body Connection
Center yourself before you start your day with virtual yoga. Clear your space and lay out your mats. We'll provide the instructor. Poses can be modified for beginner to expert level.

5/17 - Feed the Body
As we nourish our minds this week, let's not forget to nourish the body. Tacos will be provided free of charge to all Coastline students and employees. Get your meal ticket the day of the event by stopping by the Coastline Mental Health Services table prior to ordering your tacos.
