Find out if your high school non-AP or Adult Education class qualifies for free college credit!
CE Articulation
Did you take Career Education (CE) or Regional Occupation Program (ROP) courses when you were in high school? Are you an Adult Education student who took a CE course? You may qualify to receive free college credit.
Petition for College Credit
If Coastline College has an articulation agreement for a CE or ROP course that you completed with a grade of "B" or better, you can apply to receive college credit. If approved, these articulated courses can be added to your Coastline College transcript for the specific CE or ROP courses you completed. This will help you advance along your education pathway and accelerate your progress towards earning a certificate or degree.
To find out if the course you completed qualifies for college credit, find your high school information or refer to our complete list of Articulation Agreements.
Instructions: Petition for Credit for Articulated Courses
- Earn a grade of "B" or better in a high school CE/ROP or Adult Education course that is articulated with Coastline College.*
- Apply to Coastline College.
- Obtain a copy of your high school CE/ROP or Adult Education transcript.
- Complete and sign the student section of a Petition for Credit for Articulated Courses.
- Submit the Petition and your transcripts to the Coastline CE Department at cte@coastline.edu.
